Meet Dr. Max Mandelbaum
O’Daniel Studios is proud to welcome Dr. Max Mandelbaum, a board-eligible plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Mandelbaum joins the practice with elite training from two of the country’s most respected institutions in plastic surgery: an aesthetic surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic under internationally recognized facelift surgeon Dr. James E. Zins, and a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Dr. Mandelbaum’s approach to patient care is built on meticulous surgical technique, evidence-based decision making and individualized treatment planning. His goal for every patient is the same: natural, refined results achieved through careful listening, thoughtful planning and technical precision.
Dr. Mandelbaum begins seeing patients at O’Daniel Studios on Wednesdays starting September 23rd.

- Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship, Cleveland Clinic. Advanced, focused training in facial rejuvenation, breast surgery and body contouring under Dr. James E. Zins, one of the field’s most respected facelift surgeons.
- Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency, Mount Sinai Hospital. A rigorous six-year residency completed in Manhattan, one of the nation’s premier academic centers for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
- Doctor of Medicine, The George Washington University School of Medicine. Graduated with election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, a distinction reserved for top medical students nationwide.
- International Continuing Education. Completed the ISAPS Body Masters Course in Barcelona and the ISAPS FACE Masters Course in St. Louis, continuing to train alongside internationally recognized surgeons in the field.

Dr. Mandelbaum is a published researcher with more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in leading plastic and aesthetic surgery journals, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Annals of Plastic Surgery. His research spans facelift technique and outcomes, breast surgery and patient safety, reflecting a career-long commitment to applying scientific evidence in service of better, safer results.
Licensure & Credentials
Dr. Mandelbaum is a licensed physician in Kentucky, Ohio, New York and Virginia. He is board-eligible with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, having passed his written board examination, with oral board examination participation scheduled for later this year.
