With dual board certifications in facial plastic surgery and plastic surgery, Dr. T. Gerald O’Daniel of the Louisville Plastic Surgery Center was recently honored with an invitation to speak and perform a Live Facelift at the Eurasian International Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Course hosted by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey. This prestigious honor was afforded to Dr. O’Daniel because of his expertise and years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery. The focus was on surgical procedures, including facelifts and neck lifts, and Dr O’Daniel is renowned for his work on the face and neck, which made him a natural choice to speak and perform surgery while at the event.
The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) is the world’s leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons. Founded in 1970, ISAPS membership includes the world’s best known and respected reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeons.
The purpose of the Eurasian International Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Course was to give attending surgeons the opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise with their peers in order to enrich the world of cosmetic surgery. Dr O’Daniel’s first involvement was a segment titled, “Matching the Optimal Facelift Technique with the Patient’s Aesthetic Goals.” A facelift is one of the procedures Dr. O’Daniel has a vast amount of experience performing; therefore, he was able to share his knowledge on the intricacies of the surgery with the other surgeons in attendance, and Dr. O’Daniel’s skills were showcased when he performed a Live Facelift while at the event.
